This morning, we received notification that at least one Georgia county has issued absentee ballots which do not list Jim Powell as a candidate for Public Service Commission.
While this appears to be an isolated incident, we need you to help us verify that Jim Powell is on the ballot in your county. In order to verify, we need you to go to your local Board of Elections and obtain an official sample ballot as soon as possible.
If Jim Powell’s name is not on the official sample ballot, please contact me or Martin Matheny immediately at 678-278-2008, or by replying to this email. If Jim is not on your sample ballot, it is crucial that you also fax the sample ballot to the state party at 678-278-2059 as soon as you can.
Your prompt action may help Jim Powell’s campaign to victory on Tuesday.
