A Day on Not a Day off that is the message from many in the community. If you would like to give back to your community while celebrating the legacy of Dr. King, there are numerous ways and places to choose from. Even if you can’t make it to Washington, DC to participate in the 2009 Inauguration, you can still take part in the celebration.
Recently, Barack and Michelle Obama called on Americans to help celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in a National Day of Service on Monday, January 19.
