Bishop Eddie Long seems to have some ‘splainin to do…

The prominent pastor of a 25,000-member megachurch near Atlanta denies allegations in a lawsuit that he coerced two young men from the congregation into a sexual relationship, his attorney said.

Lawyers for the men, now 20 and 21, say they filed the lawsuit Tuesday in DeKalb County Court against Bishop Eddie Long…

The men who filed the suit were 17- and 18-year-old members of the church when they say Long abused his spiritual authority to seduce them with cars, money, clothes, jewelry, international trips and access to celebrities.

When I first heard this my reaction was “when did he convert to Catholicism?”

I am so going to Hell.

Also, the “Women” category seemed to be the only appropriate one for this post.

    Private Investigator TJ Ward has been humiliated by getting fired within days of getting hired in Bishop Long’s case. I’ll bet parading in front of the cameras had something to do with it. Looks like he’s gonna generate as much of a result in Long’s case as he did in Hollaway’s – nothing.

    If anyone’s been paying any sort of attention to his ‘operations’ over the years? Including all the ancillary stuff? This has been pretty obviously fairly strange & going on for awhile. It’s Not the gay, it’s the power & abuse of same.

    My assistant said today that he used to show up at the field when her kids were playing football or baseball, and used to wear ridiculously tight jeans with very bright, very tight shirts…which apparently also set off her gaydar (far less considerable than Jules’ I’m sure.)

    Several years back a couple friends and I were at the Atlanta Arts center to see Queen Latifah, and here comes old Eddie with this entourage.

    My gaydar went off so strongly I had to find the nearest chair to sit in, it knocked me off my feet.
