“On a more serious note, it is interesting to look at Rahm and Obama, and see that they are both people who get things done.”

Rahm has gotten truly awful things done. He’s a complete extremist on the middle east issue, and someone whose bitching at Howard Dean in 2006 factionalized the party. He’s a divisive hack, the biggest donors to his campaign (unsuprisingly) are UBS and AT&T, and he is widely known as an ass across the aisle.

Terrible choice, this guy’s the culmination of chicago’s machine politics. He gets bad shit done.

Incredible. Rahm set aside ambition. How un Clintonian of him.

On a more serious note, it is interesting to look at Rahm and Obama, and see that they are both people who get things done. They just do it with exactly opposite styles.

I also want to point out that my org — Center for American Progress — its President is serving as the head of the Obama transition team. Maybe we’ll get perks?

Emmanuel is one of the most awful human beings in government, I hope he turns down Obama’s offer and takes up something more appropriate for him, like shoveling coal for Satan.
