I’m with Mel. I actually participated in one of the donkey fundraisers when I was in high school. Hard to imagine now.
Totally going to read Elisabeth’s book. Not only do i still completely remember both times I met her with clarity as a person I felt i could instantly trust, but she’s been everywhere, on everything, from NPR to Oprah, talking about some of the stories from it.
I’m hooked.
