One thing you’ve got to say for Sen. Saxby Chambliss — he really believes in upholding the traditional Southern values. If by traditional values, you mean whipping uppity negroes to within an inch of their lives so that they know their place.
During a Tuesday appearance on the Fox channel, Chambliss said of Barack Obama and his planned speech to Congress on healthcare reform: “I think he’s gonna have to express some humility based on what we’ve seen around the country during August and that’s not his inclination.”
In other words: if you’re gonna talk to me, you’d better come to the back door with hat in hand and say “Massa please” before you even think of asking me for anything.
