USA Today released its preseason college football poll today.
Abalama will start the season as the Number 1 team in the land.
That’s cool. Just means when the Panthers roll in to Tuscaloosa Nov. 11 our victory will be that much sweeter. Fear the Panther.
Ohio State begins their annual ritual of being highly-ranked only to show they never deserved that praise either in a bowl game or just by being awful.
Let’s see, Florida has zero returning All Americans for the first time in nearly a decade, a QB who has never started a game and a mere skeleton of a team from last year and they are third best. Makes total sense.
For TBS: VaTech is number six.
For JerryT, Jason C. et al: Tech is number 17.
For Sara: FSU is 20.
For JenB, Tony, et al: UGA is 21. Did I mention Tech is 17th? lol.
If I can’t root for GSU I’m pulling for my Mormon warriors. Utah is tied for 24th and BYU is just outside the top 25.
