Unless you are living under a rock, you’ve no doubt heard that tonight is the final debate between Gov. Romney and the President. The topic this evening is Foreign Policy. Because this has been an insanely long campaign, costing billions of dollars, you’re going to want to watch with some friends and drink.
The LBGT Caucus is hosting a watch party at Amsterdam, we will gather at 7 ish, the debate like all the others begins at 9:00 pm. Yes, I will have lots of LBGT for Obama swag with me. The event is free.
In East Cobb County, you can join the East Cobb Democratic Alliance at the Delkwood Grill, they will gather 7:30 and watch the debate at 9:00 pm. This event is free, and they’ll have yard signs and other material available.
Over in South Cobb, the nice folks at Varner’s have set aside the back dining area, with lots of TV’s for us. This event was organized by the Cobb County Democratic Committee. They too will have yard signs, bumper stickers and a few buttons available. They will gather around 7:00 pm to eat, socialize and perhaps hear from some local candidates.
Manuel’s Tavern is also prepared for the debate. Score your table early, like 6… or be prepared to stand. They will offer a limited menu, due to the crowds. It’s a great place to watch the debate.
As always, if you go Obama for America Events, you can search for many other watch parties and ways to help the President.
